The oil contains Omega-9 monounsaturated fatty acid, as well as Omega-3 and Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Thanks to them, the oil reduces the blood cholesterol level, strengthens the heart muscle and helps our body absorb fat-soluble vitamins.
Cold-pressed sunflower oil contains alpha-tocopherol, or vitamin E, unlike the refined oil, which has all nutrients removed from it during the hot steam processing. Vitamin E is the main assistant in strengthening of the protective body functions and fighting against free radicals.
